Leapsome alternatives for small teams (2026)

Leapsome is a strong all-in-one people platform: performance reviews, engagement surveys, goals, learning and now an HRIS, all in one place. If you're looking at Leapsome alternatives, it's usually because you run a small team and only need 1 or 2 of those pieces.

Below are 7 Leapsome alternatives that genuinely suit small teams, with prices checked on each vendor's own pricing page.

We make Org360, and it's on this list. Every price below links to its source and was checked on 12 October 2026. Judge for yourself.

Why small teams look for Leapsome competitors

Leapsome prices each module per employee per month, in euros. On its pricing page today: Performance Reviews €7, Engagement Surveys €4, Goals & OKRs €4, Learning €4. The page says these are list prices and discounts come in the quote.

That's fair pricing for what you get. But the modules add up. A 25-person team on Performance plus Engagement pays €11 per person a month, or €3,300 a year.

The other reason is setup. A suite gives you review cycles, templates, goal trees and permissions to configure. At 200 people, someone in HR owns that. At 20, it's the founder on a Sunday.

If you'd use most of the suite, Leapsome is a good choice and you can stop reading. If you'd use one module, here's the field.

1. 15Five

15Five is the closest swap if you want Leapsome's performance side with weekly manager habits built in. Its pricing page lists Engage at $4, Perform at $11 and Total Platform at $16 per user a month, billed annually.

It's built around check-ins: short weekly updates that feed 1:1s and reviews. Good if your managers will actually do them every week.

Best for: teams of 25 to 200 that want reviews and engagement tied to a weekly rhythm.

2. Lattice

Lattice covers the same ground as Leapsome: performance, goals, engagement, compensation. Its pricing page lists Engagement at $4, Goals & OKRs at $8 and Performance at $10 per seat a month, or the Foundations package at $13. It's 4.6/5 on G2 from 4,127 reviews.

The catch for small teams is the $4,000 annual minimum. At 20 people, that's $200 per person a year before you've picked a module.

Best for: companies around 100 people or growing fast, where the minimum stops mattering.

3. Small Improvements

Small Improvements has been doing reviews, 360s and 1:1s for small companies for years. Its pricing page lists Launch at $3, Grow at $6 and Elevate at $9 per user a month, billed annually, with a 20-user minimum (30 on Elevate). There's a 30-day free trial.

It's the cheapest proper review tool on this list once you're past 20 people.

Best for: small teams that want simple review cycles without a suite.

4. Effy AI

Effy AI focuses on 360 reviews and goals. Its pricing page says it's free for up to 5 users. After that, 360 reviews cost $3 a seat a month billed annually for one review per person a year, or $6 a seat for several. Goals and OKRs are $2 a seat. Nonprofits get 30% off.

Best for: very small teams trying 360 reviews for the first time.

5. Teamflect

Teamflect runs reviews, goals, 1:1s and recognition inside Microsoft Teams. Its pricing page lists a free Starter plan for up to 10 users, then Essential at $9 and Professional at $14 per user a month on monthly billing (annual billing saves 22%). It also mentions discounts of up to 60% for nonprofits.

Best for: teams that already live in Microsoft Teams.

6. Workleap Officevibe

Officevibe sends short, regular pulse surveys and gives managers tools for 1:1s and recognition. Workleap's pricing page lists plans from $4,999 a year (Standard), billed annually.

That's a flat figure, so it gets cheaper per head as you grow. At 15 people it's a lot per person.

Best for: teams of 50 or more that want a steady engagement pulse.

7. Org360 (that's us)

Org360 does one job: short 360 feedback and engagement surveys, with a written report at the end. It has no review cycles, goals or HRIS. If you need those, pick one of the tools above.

Each survey has 12 questions (about 5 minutes) or 24 (about 10). When the survey closes, the report is written with Claude: scores by area, strengths, growth areas and a 6-month development plan for a 360, or a short action plan for an engagement survey. Here's a sample report.

You choose the confidentiality level. Standard opens the report at 3 responses and shows comments without names. Highest (on Pro) opens at 5 responses and replaces comments with an AI summary. Surveys run in 8 languages.

Pricing doesn't depend on headcount. Your first survey is free, a single survey is $49, Essentials is $250 a year for 24 surveys and Pro is $490 a year for 96 (plans). Nonprofits get 40% off annual plans.

Best for: small teams that want honest feedback a few times a year and don't need a suite.

How to choose a Leapsome alternative

Start with what you'll actually use in the next 12 months. Most small teams overbuy.

  • You want reviews, goals and engagement in one place: 15Five, or Lattice if you're near 100 people. Or stay with Leapsome.
  • You only want reviews: Small Improvements, Effy AI or Teamflect (if you're on Microsoft).
  • You only want engagement pulses: Officevibe, if the flat price works for your size.
  • You only want feedback, a few times a year: Org360.

Then do the maths for your headcount. For a 25-person team running one engagement survey module for a year: Leapsome Engagement is about €1,200 at list price, 15Five Engage is $1,200, Lattice hits its $4,000 minimum, and Org360 Essentials is $250. Those tools do different amounts of work for that money, so compare like with like.

Some teams use both: a suite for reviews and Org360 for the confidential 360s. We wrote about that in Org360 vs Leapsome.
