Culture Amp is excellent enterprise software — and that's the problem for a 100-person organization. Its methodology assumes a survey program: a 57-question baseline, a quarterly cadence, benchmarking, and an HR team to run it, at a quote-based price. According to Vendr, the median Culture Amp buyer pays $23,270 a year. Org360 does the feedback part: 12 or 24 questions, about 5 or 10 minutes, report included, for $490 a year on the Pro plan (96 surveys) or $49 for a single survey.
At a glance:
- Culture Amp's standard engagement survey template contains 57 questions; Org360 surveys contain 12 or 24 questions and take about 5 or 10 minutes.
- Culture Amp's methodology recommends a survey program with a quarterly cadence; Org360 is a standalone tool with no program to administer.
- Culture Amp pricing is quote-based and per-employee. According to Vendr, the median buyer pays $23,270 a year, with deals ranging from $8,242 to $59,100.
- Org360 Pro costs $490 a year for 96 surveys (360s, engagement surveys and client NPS), each for up to 500 respondents, with no per-employee pricing. — 360s, engagement, and performance.
- Org360 surveys run in 8 languages on every plan (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Ukrainian and Korean), with one combined report.
- Culture Amp is the better choice for organizations of 500+ that need industry benchmarking; Org360 suits organizations under ~250 people.

Here's the evidence.
Culture Amp is genuinely good — for the org it was built for
Let's not pretend otherwise: Culture Amp earns its reputation. It holds 4.5/5 on G2 from 1,620 reviews (12 October 2026), and reviewers praise the benchmarking, clean dashboards, and 360 setup that auto-assigns reviewers from your reporting structure (SelectSoftware Reviews). Customers include McDonald's, Airbnb, and Adobe.
But read the critical reviews and a pattern appears: the weight of the machine. Capterra reviewers describe engagement survey setup as painful, note bespoke terminology that takes time to learn, and one — at a company that wasn't even large — found the flood of separate tasks and reminders created more confusion than focus. This isn't bad software. It's heavy software.
The methodology is a program, not a tool
Culture Amp's own playbook: a baseline survey of up to ~50 questions (the standard template is 57), then a quarterly cadence of trend and pulse surveys, benchmarked against industry data, with action planning in between.
For an enterprise with a people-analytics team, that's rigor. For a 100-person organization, it's a part-time job nobody has — and every survey your team doesn't have capacity to act on burns trust with the people who answered it. Culture Amp themselves say survey fatigue is really lack-of-action fatigue. We agree. Which is exactly why a small organization should run fewer, shorter surveys it can actually follow through on.
Org360's whole design is that follow-through: 12 or 24 questions, about 5 or 10 minutes, and an AI report written with Claude as soon as the survey closes. It shows scores by area, strengths, growth areas and a short action plan (or a 6-month development plan for a 360), so acting on results doesn't need an analyst. Surveys run in 8 languages on every plan (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Ukrainian and Korean), and you get one combined report, so every part of a multicultural team answers in its own language.
The cost, for a 100-person organization
Culture Amp doesn't publish prices. Quotes are per employee and depend on which modules you buy: Engage for surveys, Perform for reviews, Develop for learning.
According to Vendr, which tracks real software purchases, the median Culture Amp buyer pays $23,270 a year, and deals range from $8,242 to $59,100. Vendr doesn't split these figures by headcount, so treat them as a guide.
Here's how the two compare for a 100-person organization:
- Annual cost: Culture Amp is by quote (Vendr's median is $23,270 a year). Org360 Pro is $490 a year, or $250 for Essentials.
- What's included: Culture Amp prices each module separately. Org360 Pro includes 96 surveys (360s, engagement surveys and client NPS), each for up to 500 respondents, all available from day one and valid for 18 months.
- Finding out the price: Culture Amp needs a sales call and a custom quote. Org360's prices are on the plans page.
- Getting started: Vendr says Culture Amp quotes implementation separately. An Org360 survey can be live the same day.
- Cost per survey: about $5 on Pro. Even Essentials covers four quarterly engagement surveys and a 360 for up to 20 managers.
Even Vendr's lowest reported Culture Amp deal ($8,242) is about 17 times a year of Org360 Pro, before you count the staff time to run a survey program. Nonprofits with a .org email pay $294 a year for Pro (40% off).
Where Culture Amp still wins
Honesty cuts both ways. Choose Culture Amp if you're 500+ people and need industry benchmarking, demographic slicing, and longitudinal analytics — that's where the price buys real value, and where reviewers say it shines. Org360 doesn't benchmark you against 1,000 other companies; it tells you what your people said and what to do about it.
Which one, when
Choose Culture Amp if you have an HR team that will run a year-round survey program and a budget that won't blink at five figures.
Choose Org360 if you're under ~250 people and want honest feedback — 360s, engagement, performance — without a program to administer, raters limited to your payroll, or a sales call to learn the price.
The test
Do you need a people-analytics program, or do you need to hear your people this quarter? The first costs five figures and a hiring plan. The second costs $490 a year for 96 surveys.
