You can run a complete 360 degree feedback survey in Org360 for free. That means the real thing: up to 500 respondents, a full report written with AI, and no credit card. One survey, once.
I'd rather tell you exactly what's in the free survey and where it stops than have you find out halfway through. So here it is.
In short
- Your first survey is free: 1 survey, up to 500 respondents, the full AI report and no credit card.
- You pick from our ready-made templates, including the 12- and 24-question leadership 360s, and can edit the wording before you send.
- After that, a single survey costs $49, or 4 cost $69. No subscription.
- If you'll run more than 4 or 5 a year, Essentials is $250 a year for 24 surveys. Nonprofits get 40% off annual plans.
What's in the free 360 survey?
- One full survey. Choose from our core templates, including the leadership 360s.
- Up to 500 respondents. For a 360 that's far more than you'll need: 5 to 15 raters is plenty.
- Editable wording. Change any question to fit how your team talks, before you launch.
- 8 languages. Raters can answer in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Ukrainian or Korean.
- Standard confidentiality. The report opens once 3 people have replied. Open-text answers are shuffled, so the order doesn't give anyone away, and raters can edit or delete their answers until the survey closes.
- The full report. Scores per competency, strengths, growth areas, a summary of the open answers and a development plan. It's produced automatically when the survey closes, and you can refresh it. See a sample report.
What isn't in the free survey?
A few features belong to the Pro plan:
- Writing your own questions. You can reword ours, but adding new questions needs the question builder on the Pro plan.
- Highest confidentiality mode. On Pro, the report waits for 5 replies, reminders go to the whole group, and nobody reads the open answers directly. They're summarized by AI instead.
- The full question bank beyond the core templates, also on Pro.
For most first 360s, none of these matter. The core templates cover what a leadership 360 needs.
Which free 360 template should you use?
If it's your first 360, start with the 12-question Leadership Pulse. Raters finish it in about 5 minutes, and you get a clear read on 8 core competencies plus 3 open questions.
If you want more depth, use The Full 360, with 24 questions and about 10 minutes per rater. You can see both question lists in full in our free 360 feedback template article.
When does the $49 survey make sense?
Once your free survey is used, you've got 3 ways to keep going. Here's how I'd pick:
- 1 more 360, maybe 2 this year: buy a single survey for $49. No subscription, nothing to cancel.
- A few managers, or a 360 plus a team survey: 4 surveys for $69 works out at about $17 each.
- A 360 for every manager, plus regular team and client surveys: Essentials is $250 a year for 24 surveys, about $10 each, with a shared workspace so colleagues can use the same credits.
If you're a coach running 360s for several clients, look at Pro: $490 a year for 96 surveys, plus the question builder and the Highest confidentiality mode. And if you're a nonprofit, every annual plan is 40% off with a .org email. See all plans.
There's no per-seat fee anywhere. You pay for surveys, however many people answer them.
What about free tools like Google Forms?
You can run a 360 in Google Forms for free, and our questions are free to copy into it. The survey part is easy.
The work starts after. You'll need to average the scores by competency, keep track of who has replied without seeing what they said, and read through every open answer to find the themes. For 8 raters and 3 open questions, that's 24 comments to sort by hand. It's doable once. It gets old by the third person.
That's the part the free Org360 survey does for you.

FAQ
Is the Org360 360 survey really free?
Yes. Your first survey is free, with up to 500 respondents and the complete report. You don't need a credit card.
How much does a 360 feedback survey cost after the free one?
$49 for a single survey, $69 for 4, or $250 a year for 24 on the Essentials plan. There are no per-user fees.
Is the free 360 survey anonymous?
Yes. The report only opens once at least 3 people have replied, and open-text answers are shuffled so their order doesn't reveal who wrote them.
Can I edit the questions in the free survey?
You can change the wording of any question before you send it. Adding your own questions needs the Pro plan.
Do nonprofits get a discount?
Yes, 40% off any annual plan, with no end date. Sign up with your .org email address.
